Oscillating Cutting Demo on Nakamura-Tome SC-100X²
Watch a demo of a Nakamura-Tome SC-100X2 oscillating cutting feature completed at the Methods’ Acton Precision Center.
Oscillating cutting produces small chips, reducing:
1) Chip forming and wrapping that can degrade precision and overall quality of the final workpiece.
2) Manual interruption of cycles by operator.
3) Time spent on chip management and discarding.
This feature:
1) Comes standard on the SC-100X2
2) No increased cycle time
3) Can be added to existing Nakamura-Tome machines as long as Methods has the serial to confirm the FANUC control is compatible.
